MUGA Background
Work to install a £214,000 multi-use games area (MUGA) at Dornoch completed in February 2024 and with the addition of floodlights the MUGA will be operational all year round.
The new MUGA will comprise two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, pickleball and netball and basketball courts.
The build was carried out by Sports facility specialists DOE Sport.
The MUGA at Dornoch South has been made possible thanks to funding awards from sportscotland, Dornoch Common Good Fund, Highland Council’s Community Regeneration Fund and POT170.
LOCATION
The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is located on Dornoch South in Shore Road (opposite the Medical Centre) for tennis, pickleball, football, basket ball, cricket practice and touch rugby.
