🧵 Lead Tutor – Youth Craft Sessions

Location: The Dornoch Hub
Day: One weekday evening per week (to be confirmed)
Pay: £60 per week (covers delivery, planning, setup, and clear-down)
Contract: Funded until August 2028
Funded by: BBC Children in Need

Are you confident working with young people and love crafts? DACIC is looking for a self-employed Lead Tutor to run our Youth Craft Sessions for children aged 10–14. You’ll create and deliver fun, welcoming sessions to encourage creativity and connection in a supportive environment.

🧑‍🎨Transition Manager (22 hours per week) 
Salary: £21,736 (FTE £36,556) 
Contract: Fixed term 3 years (with option to extend) 
Location: The Dornoch Hub, Dornoch 

Dornoch Area Community Interest Company (DACIC) is recruiting a Transition Manager to support our next phase of organisational development and strengthen our operational and financial foundations. 

The Role 

You will: 

  • Lead the transition programme aligned with revised Articles of Association. 
  • Strengthen governance, systems and data processes. 
  • Oversee daily operations for The Hub, community transport, sports facilities and events. 
  • Line manage the Community Engagement Officer and Hub Assistant. 
  • Support funding applications, reporting and compliance. 
  • Deliver the full bookkeeping function, including invoicing, payments, reconciliations, management information and year-end processes. 

About You 

We’re looking for someone with community development, asset management or service delivery experience, strong organisational skills, confidence supervising staff or volunteers, and solid experience in bookkeeping or financial administration.
